Dear Frontrunner. Can you answer my (simple) QUESTION REAGRDING WHICH TYPES OF RACES yeild the most consistent AND highest SR over time. The boss says to avoid Handicaps, sellers, maidens. So which race types SHOULD I FOCUS on? Sorry Oceana God went down at Newmarket. I am on Ishetoo in the 4.55 at Thirsk. My only bet today!

You've machine-gunned out a number of posts asking all sorts of people on here the same sort of thing. You get the answers you were after and then badger someone else for a reply to see what they think. And in so many different threads too.

Take some time out to read what you have been told and think about how you can apply your new knowledge. At the minute you're running round like a kid in a sweet shop and it's as though you're on the biggest sugar rush imaginable.

Put some thought into what you're asking. If you have been told which race types to avoid what does that leave you with? Then look at doing some of your own research. Make sure you understand what these race types are and what that means in terms of the class of runners and potential winners.

(Sorry for the thread hijack FR)

Take on board what matt has said Matunty. There is plenty of help on the forums but you must be a tad patient. Bath is my local track but on the whole the racing there is not that great. You may be better of looking at statistics at Group 1 courses. You can get information online at www.racingpost.co.uk & www.sportinglife.com & a couple of others for free. Why don't you concentrate on Newbury instead of Bath as you will find yourself out of pocket because of the poor racing at the Lansdowne course. The other plus about Newbury is that all the top trainers send their horses there :thumbs
