Here's a stunning bargain collection from Amazon - I've just finished reading all 5 books in this collection - it's called the Rock Legends pack - 5 books, £6.50, and you get

How Black Was Our Sabbath - the inside story of the Ozzy Years, written by 2 of the crew... this is very funny, and written by 2 guys who obviously loved the band, and there are quite a few stories you won't have heard before.

Hammer Of The Gods - by Stephen Davis - unauthorized, infamous book about the rise of Led Zeppelin, and all the excesses they got up to in the 70's.

Aerosmith - What It Takes - great account of the rise, fall, and rise again of one of the greatest bands in the world.

Highway To Hell - an unauthorized, but very warm hearted biography of AC/DC's Bon Scott.

The Status Quo Autobiography - by Parfitt and Rossi (with a bit of help from Mick Wall). Does exactly what it says on the cover...

My own favourite was the Sabbath book, but they're all worth reading, and at this price it's a no-brainer really.
