I had a home game at mine last night. 7 players, 10p/20p no-limit Texas Hold'em with an initial buy-in of £20. In short, I was AWESOME :D
My home games are as much about drinking as poker really and last night was no exception. I drank a lot (and am suffering for it today) but I also won a lot. Bought in for £20 at around 8pm and when the game broke up at around 4.30 this morning I had run that up to £115 :happyboun
I had taken a lot of stick just before the game about being too tight etc but that's the nature of my game. Last night I played a few hands I wouldn't normally play, and in positions I wouldn't normally play many hands, but it all worked out rather nicely. Definitely the best result I have had in these games
