Hey Guys,
Wondering if anybody has any experiences (good or bad) of the ********** website ran by someone else.
I have signed up with them a few times but find the 'tips' not great. But what really got me was their 'Big Sting' bet which came to fruition last Saturday. According to the website 'It's the bet that punters dream about: a small outlay for a big return! Our clients have won up to £34,500 to a £100 stake at the advised prices. The bet is advised in 3 x £20 doubles and a £40 treble.' On Saturday, the Big Sting was in place and the three horses were:
4:00 Doncaster - Checklow
5:10 Doncatser - Blessing
5:00 Goodwood - Golden Rosie
And you all know the results! I want to say that I accept there's always a risk otherwise it wouldn't be called gambling. And I also subscribe to the motto that an low odds winner is better than a high odds odds loser.
But my problem is that this guy is allegedly paying thousands for this information. And if I was paying someone in the know for insider info and the best they came back with were Checklow @ 4/6 and Blessing @ 7/4, I'd be well upset. I could have picked up the paper on Saturday morning and Checklow would certainly jumped out at me. But then who is the mug as all his subscribers, like myself, are paying this guy probably thousands for this inside info!
Anyone else's experiences would be gratefully appreciated.

Sorry but you cannot post website names or the site owners' names without express permission from Win2Win. This is also to protect Win2Win from potential problems and also to protect you from being sued if said owners decide your post can be contrued as libelous.

This simple sentence about sums it up.
How many average punters believe that a £100 bet constitutes a small outlay ?

Some more of their words of wisdom include something to the tune of 'only place bets of up to £200 as more than that will arise suspicion'

I really don't understand why people pay anyone who boasts about how much they pay out for inside information. What value is this info really?
The info comes in two main categories:
1) Horse A is likely to run a big race at a big price so is greater value than the general punting public realise
2) Horse A is unlikely to run a good race as the going/distance/draw whatever doesn't suit
Information that falls into the first category is tipping up a potentially big-priced winner/place. Information from the second category tells you to either leave the horse alone or potentially lay it.
Would you pay much for such info? Would you pay to be told not to back a horse? It could save you money but it won't make you any cash. What about laying a horse? How sure is your source that the horse will lose? And for the winners how sure is the tip that the horse can win/place and what odds are value odds? How does the amount you're being asked to pay for the information compare to the amount you could potentially win/lose on the bet?
As a subscriber to a site that uses inside information so blatantly you have to ask yourself what sources the site owner has (not that he will tell you) and how much he trusts them (he won't tell you that either) or the source's record to date with their information (not a hope in hell of getting that). So all your information is at best second hand, and potentially all in the public domain anyway so what price is it really worth?
My guess is that like most of these sites, you chase your losses. In theory, you can't lose and the site can advertise their profits as such - but in reality, no-one has a bottomless bank and most ordinary folk wouldn't be able to cover the bigger bets when they start mounting up, and therefore go bust.

Can't argue with any of that and I'm annoyed after Saturday, probably as much with myself as with them. Despite reading al the warnings etc. I still went ahead.
And while they claim to have paid thousands for the info, the approach of getting us, the subscribers, to place bets on their behalf is classic. And a good portion of their daily tips are for horses to bet EW. Quite often the odds on these horses are 7/2, 3/1 etc. I tried to quiz them before on the best way to use such info but never really go a satisfactory response.

ive followed these "get rich" tipsters for years and got nothing but empty pockets.
you will do better if you listen to the guys on this site, most folk fail by betting more than you can afford to lose, and then after the tipster has had a "first" bad run,the it all goes tits up.
my advice is to look at the various staking plans on this site, find one that suits and stick to it

Thanks for all the replies. Will definitely be more cautious in the future. Am already looking at one the systems on here and think a bit of paper trading and hard work are called for.

the Big Sting was in place
The name of this bet gives it away, I know exactly which tipster you're on about here.... I've been given the details of this twice in the past from a member of his service, both times it lost, and not just one horse either, 2 losers meaning not even one double up to get some returns. Also, the fact that so many folk get to know about this one means that there is little value in it these days anyway. I wouldnt touch this with someone elses bargepole!
