In the past you had 30 minutes to be inactive, and then you would be logged out, and all posts marker as read. Now you will still be logged out after 30 minutes (security), but unread posts will still be marked as unread when you log back in. :thumbs

This functions records for 30 days, after that unread posts will be marked as read. :)

On your first visit with this new function, New Posts will include a long list while the database sets itself for your account.

Very good, I like. Because if ever I log on here, and then have to leave the computer without having read any posts, I always come back to find that everything is 'read' when I haven't read it. Nice one! :)

Have some rep, and a spanking. Or both. :D

Keef - I just posted a new thread in the poker section but it's not showing up under New Posts... this isn't normal... is it because I was the one who posted it therefore I won't see it, or has it vanisho'd from the New Posts menu because you've been fiddling with things you shouldn't? :D

As you posted the last post you've obviously read it!!! :splapme

Click TODAY'S POSTS and it will be top. :thumbs

It apears as a NEW POST to everyone else.

Never used to be like that darling, that's all I'm saying! :cuck

Newly posted threads would still appear to the user who posted them when clicking 'New Posts' regardless of whether or not they'd had any replies... there was never a 'Today's Posts' link before. :geek

I used to click New Posts and got everything I hadn't read yet. There was never a today's link on MY screen!

You're twisting my melon.

Edit: OK - they're under the Quick Links menu... which I've never ever used! Fair enough.

Could you not make it so that read posts stay in the new posts menu but are just unbolded, like it used to be (but still with this new thing?) I know I'm asking too much, but I like asking. :D
