the going at beverley today is heavy but with all the rain we've had this morning i'm surprised it's still on, the going must be bottomless so if there's any real mudlarks running could be worth a flutter . :thumbs

There's a couple in the first - normally unreliable, especially on turf but in this weather they might have a sniff EW.

Morristown Music has only won twice - on Soft and Heavy. However, the ground advantage he has will almost certainly be levelled out by his top weight which seems to be causing his terrible form at present.

The other horse is more interesting. Monte Major has not won on turf but his best efforts have definitely been on ground that is soft or worse. I guess he will be near favourite but will still be an EW price. I will be backing him for a place.

I decided to put a place bet on both so only made a tiny profit but it's better than a loss I suppose.
