I doubt Kevin was the right man for the job in the first place, he was a rush choice if you remember, and now so is Strauss!

The ECB is the 'Old boys together' club, and my guess is Kevin tried to change it to fit in with the way SA & the Aussies run cricket. Must be a pain in the ass if the captain is given a list of people to select from, rather than every player in the country. Can you imagine Capello putting up with that?
