I just found out (from my brother in law) that Gala in Leeds are hosting a £2,000 freeroll tomorrow night.

The best news is for a fat boy like me - free buffet :wiggle:

I know there's not many people on here based in Yorkshire but I thought I would post it up just in case.

Apparently, the buffet will be open only during the break - I was hoping to slip off for a few hands to grab some decent platefuls but now I will be amongst the throng. Also, how am I going to manage loads of grub and a smoke in a 30 minute break?

Perhaps the best plan is to get knocked out early.

The card room can only hold 100 people apparently so I would imagine that at least 30 of those will go earlyish as they will be useless or over aggressive.

I was due to play in a £50 double chance where the top prize is usually about £1,300 but a freeroll where the top prize is £1,200 has far more appeal.
