I asked a question about Course grades in another thread a couple of days ago and wondered if anyone might help out with this question:

Are there, for each course in the UK statistically prominent courses from which winners ran last time out? (EG. Horses running at course Q today show a winning statistical advantage if having run at course W,X,Y or Z last time out). And if so what are these courses/how do I find out for each UK course?

many thanks and kind regards,
Z

Yes, but few selections so not really worth the hassle.

Get a free copy of RSB.

Get a free copy of RSB.

Thanks for the link - I downloaded it but now they want my details and seemingly need to send a starter pack snail-mail for the software to work. I appreciate the gesture of pointing me in this direction but I simply can't have that type of thing going on.

Does anyone care to share these statistics?

Regards,
Z

:doh You don't like freebies then? Especially the most powerful racing analysis software on the planet.

Freebies sound great - I just can't have things sent by mail (at the moment).

All the best,

Does anyone know what Speed type to consider Great Leighs course as (galloping, stiff, etc?); I did try to look for this information but failed to find anything - thanks,

Galloping would only be on straight courses, or those with long bends/straight like Newbury, Haydock.....

AW tracks are generally with little pace.

Unfortunately, this doesn't include Great Leights, but here's the rest of the UK flat tracks as described by timeform.
