Just been watching a few clips on YouTube from this, including:

Dara O'Briain, Russell Howard, Jo Brand, Michael McIntyre, Frankie Boyle... some of whom have had me in stitches, some of whom haven't!

Michael McIntyre is absolutely hilarious, the following clip (and parts 2 and 3) is especially funny if you live in London:

Just so funny. I saw him on Graham Norton at Christmas too, and thought he was brilliant.

I'm a big fan of Frankie Boyle too, although he's pretty harsh and crass at times... I like that though; offensively funny. Can't stop watching snippets of Mock The Week!

I've seen the whole series on Friday nights and it's been the best stand up on telly ever! Michael Mcintyre almost had me pass out because I couldn't draw breath for laughing... same for Frankie Boyle and Dara O'Briain. The rest of them have all been great as well.... have a look at Stephen K Amos if there are any clips on Youtube - he was fantastic as well. One of the few I haven't enjoyed was Joan Rivers.... found her funny 20 years ago but she just annoys me now - same old routine, tired old jokes. Lee Mack and Sean Lock were great, Jo Brand is always funny, Russell Howard is usually pretty good, and I just piss myself laughing as soon as Andy Parsons appears!

Michael McIntyre is my current fave's of those on the circuit too!
First saw him on the Royal Variety a couple of years back, was impressed then
and would love to see more of him on the telly

Can't stop watching snippets of Mock The Week!

One of my colleagues went up to a recording of that a year or so back.... she said it took over 2 hours to get 30 minutes of material they could broadcast without fear of being banned, sued, or otherwise in trouble, but she said it was hilarious!

:laugh Brilliant stuff guys!

I just watched the Royal Variety clip with Michael McIntyre - all about "the loft" and "the man drawer" - extreeeeeemely funny, and so true! He's exceptionally dry and witty, doesn't make gags or relate all that much to current affairs in the same way Frankie Boyle does, and I think I prefer comical references and everyday situations.

Has he a DVD? I think I might buy it if he has...

Will check out Amos and the others you mentioned. Russell Howard is only 25, can't believe it!

There's seems to be a good crop of stand up comedians at the moment. Have to admit I hadn't heard of most of them until Mock The Week began. Frankie Boyle is excellent as is Michael McIntyre.

Hope so fella. :D

He's the second comedian in the last couple of months who, from really disliking, I've grown to love. Jimmy Carr is the other...

Well I watched this last night... that was THE funniest stand-up I've EVER, EVER seen..... I was in absolute stitches!

It's all so true, he's brilliant at taking everyday situations and making them extremely funny... he's a genius!

I want to watch it again and again and again.

:hoho:
