With McCoy hitting 3000 winners the other day, I wonder what the odds are of Hayley Turner hitting 1000? Must be odds on now after last season, but you'd probably still be waiting a good few years for a payout! :ooo

She's on about 300 or so at the moment so I guess it would take her another 6 or 7 years.

However, having watched her in the past 6 months or so I really do believe she is in the top 5-10% of jockeys so she should start getting some better rides.

She probably needs to stop because Michael Bell's second jockey and gamble on getting a bigger job or better rides as a jobbing jockey.
