alternatively, wear a Rangers scarf in the east end of Glasgow, and someone will kindly put your lights out for you :wink.

A good idea if a bit of a gimmick and likely to be done by those folk who already practise environmentally friendly stuff...

I'm going to be a bit of a rogue and switch EVERYTHING on :D

The rest of my village is always in blackout.....I don't leave them enough electric to use :rolleyes:

How about switching off all TVs from 7.0pm to 9.00pm when all the crud is on as well.:omg:

So, against all safety advice, they suggest we use candles...

...erm, did nobody think that if we all use candles for half an hour, the gases given off by burning wicks covered in wax (primarily made from petroleum products) kind of defeats the objective.

Well it seems our village has lost its charm......we all switched everything off, and in order to keep warm we burnt the local witch. :)
