Really? I'm having a pretty good day, on the lays especially. I missed Izita Star though - I tried chasing the price up a little but it was moving too quickly so I voided the bet just before the off.

It's been a 'In one hand and straight out the other' day today! :ermmm

For instance:
5.25 Won £600 on KAVALOTI
5.35 Lost £594 on HARTBURN
:splapme

Will finish the day down a ton or two, haven't done the maths yet, still trading.

Some odds on shots being turned over didn't help my day, hope we don't have a February repeat. :omg:

A couple of late winners on the W2W lays put a slight dampener on things but the lays are still in profit for me overall today. Breakeven on the backs, give or take a few quid. Up a couple of points on the football too with a couple of bets on the Stoke v Newcastle match still to be settled

HT Stoke 1-0 Newcastle

Did you go for Stoke Mat? How much trouble are Newcastle in if they get nothing from this?

Did you go for Stoke Mat?Yep. Decent home record and playing a struggling side so worth backing at the odds (8/5). Under 11 corners too.

How much trouble are Newcastle in if they get nothing from this? They're stuffed! Shearer's probably going to take them down I reckon. Will the fans forgive him and blame someone else? If so, whom? Mike Ashley? Joe Kinnear? Dennis Wise?

Thats what surprised me about him taking the job now rather than earlier when he had a lot more time to sort things out. Whoever went in now was probably looking at relegation anyway but will it spoil his god like status up there if he is in charge WHEN they go down?

I think that's why he took it now actually. In a bit of a no lose situation really. They were already in the bottom three, in bad form, he couldn't really make things worse and would be a saviour if he kept them up.
