Jeeez......seriously thought provoking......
Absolute must-see if you ask me.
It's a thriller centred around the police & 2 private detectives' efforts to track down a young girl who has been abducted from her somewhat 'dysfunctional' mother.
OK, the subject matter of child abduction & murder does not rest easy on the mind, & I believe it was this film that was never plugged/advertised in the UK due to the Madeleine McCann abduction happening so near to this film's release.
I guess this film would be more hard-hitting & possibly emotionally disturbing for parents of youngsters to watch.....especially with the see-sawing of emotion it provokes.....but boy, does it make you second-think about what is morally right &/or wrong in today's world regarding kids' welfare (in my opinion).
If, while watching it, you reckon you've worked out how this film is going to climax.........think again!!
