The best team by far won it...... how well you'll do next season without Ronaldo (fingers crossed) remains to be seen :D

The summer transfers will certainly be interesting.

Well done Manure, deserved it over the season.

Many congratulations boys!!!

Never in doubt was it?! :)

I imagine it is all the more sweet because this makes it eighteen apiece?

Typical - perhaps the most significant Saturday of the Premier League season and I am stuck in Sandbach at a football tournament with my nine year old!

United won it, I'm happy. :) But it was by far, not their best season.

Hmmm, maybe Pez... wishful thinking! :D But no, I don't think they have blown their best chance, I think they will continue to be a major force next season. Good squad, that finally seem to be working as a team, although I still continue to have my doubts about Torres. Is he really as good as he's made out to be? Who knows? Looking forward to what they produce next season - whether Benitez is the man to guide them to Premiership success, I don't know. I don't like the continuous rotation of nearly every player... and surely more players would appreciate being made fully regular first teamers, with constant routine.

As for Man Utd, I think they need to pull their socks up, to be honest. They did well this season, but let's not forget that there seemed to be a sense of panic towards the closing stages, which before may have existed but it hasn't affected them so much. Whereas this season it seemed to get to them. They drew games that they should've won - 0-0 against Aston Villa at home for example, and haven't performed when it's mattered; let's not forget Liverpool thumped them 4-1 at home.

As much as I want Man U to win, I relish a huge challenge from any other team... except Chelsea of course. :D

This season was hectic. A lot of games in a lot of competitions. The team didn't play its best all the time but what team can? A very important thing that happened again this season was the emergence of young potential players. Added to a relatively young team only bodes well for next season. I think Liverpool and arsenal will put up a good fight next season. The only question will be over their squad depth. Chelsea need to add new blood to make a big challenge.

the real united have been nowhere to be seen for most of this season though and still won it, can liverpool play any better? can liverpool do the double over united again and chelsea?

also if united win next wednesday will they be in the world club cup again? if so it'll be the same as this season.

anyway although i cannot stand the bloke, if ronaldo goes in the summer i think were screwed.

Peza remember everyone said the same after cantona, keane and beckham! The winning mentallity is bred into all players coming through. As the slogan went last season - BELIEVE

I don't agree that it has not been their best season by far.

Aren't they going to win the Premiership with their second highest points tally.

I think Man United have been much more consistent this season than in previous.
They haven't been so jet lagged after European games as they usually are.

A sensible Vegy post?

Raise your glasses everyone, and cherish the moment. A rare anomaly in civilisation has landed upon us. :D

If Ronaldo goes I'll be more than happy, I can't stand him either. I liked him before his ego turned sour, when he was actually a fantastic player. Now, he tries to do spectacular things every time he has the ball, where's the simplicity?

Apparently he's signing for Chelsea :laugh

Sorry john, normal service resumed :D

It's all swings and roundabouts Pez

but with Ronaldo you get more swings, or is it roundabouts? Whatever the good one is :D
