With concerns over the ground for Newmarket 2000 Guineas runner-up Delegator, who will you be plumping for in the Irish 2000 guineas?

Aidan O'Brian doesn't think Mastercraftsman (5th in the 200 Guineas at Newmarket) has the same concerns having won a Group 1 on heavy before.

The market would seem to agree, with Mastercraftsman having been backed into favourite.

Aidan was correct, Mastercraftsman wasn't inconvenienced and won with some style going off at 6-4 favourite!

I took a chance that Delegator would handle the ground but he absolutely hated it! Just goes to show that it's worth sticking with proven performers when the ground goes heavy.
