Seeing Frankie on Kite Wood in the Derby this afternonn got me thinking - what has happened to the Godolphin of a few years back? They used to have prominent runners in the big flat races and were often on the front pages of the racing websites but now you heardly hear about them, Aiden O'Brien has the news monopolised now.
Are Godolphin still doing the business but more quietly than before? Or are they focusing more on races elsewhere?

Goldolphin and the Irish boys fell out years ago so now the inbred breeding industry is split in two and even more inbred now :splapme
Godolphin had too many policy changes, and have certainly lost the plot, it all started back in the late 90's when after years of excellent results with 2yo's under David Loder, they moved the 2yo base to France :doh ....it has been downhill ever since, although they moved back from France after 2 years, but have not concentrated on 2yo's since, and more on buying 'winners' in, aka Chelski. :ermmm
Also the Sheikh, puts a lot more effort, and his decent horses in the US now where prize money is much better.

Talking of which, the £££ hit 1.66 ....but as soon as the election results came out, the rest of the world lost confidence in the UK again and bailed out!!! :splapme
