Have £30 free bet on Scenic Blast tommorrow at 7.0 with William Hill and would win £180.

Can now lay at 4.5 so

£10 lay would give £10 profit if lost £145 if win
£20 lay would give £20 profit if lost £110 if win
£30 lay would give £30 profit if lost £75 if win
£40 lay would give £40 profit if lost £40 if win

What would you do? :doh

Any advice welcome

£20 lay sounds good to me, just so you still have a very nice profit if it wins.

If you want a free bet lay back the stake, otherwise if you placed it as a win bet as you thought it'd win then let it ride.

It would appear you have a "value" bet so just cover your stake and let the rest ride

Personally I'd lay £10 and stick a couple of lower lays in for £10 for in running. Might as well ensure a profit out of it.

I got a code from my cousin to quote to william hill about 3 weeks ago giving me a £30 freebet and this was the horse he also said he had been given a tip for from some australian dude he met. So I really have nothing to lose but you have all given me some good options now to think about.

I am aware this horse is one that likes to come from off the pace so is it worth while putting on some lower priced lays in running.
