A couple of winners but unfortunately one drifted from 10/3 best price to 5/1 and I wasn't with a best odds guaranteed bookie :(

I was ticking along quite nicely indeed until Lucayan Dancer intervened!

I'm not, especially as King Pin has just taken me for a double lay at 7.0. :(

Redcar is not being kind to me today.

Only a short-price so I never worry about them.

Yep :(

Yep, me too :(

Typical of the Lay'em system at the moment - producing at least a winner a day, even if that winner is the only qualifier!

King Pin has been the only qualifier for me so far today and hasn't let me down.

I prefer the races where there are four or five qualifiers which are the market leaders because it's in those races, bizarrely, where you tend to win! :doh

I suppose that's handicaps for you.

Significant overlays on some of the lays sees me down 5.14pts with 3 winners from 17 lays. Thankfully two were on my smallest bank.

Another good day on the backs though with 4 winners from 9 bets, including two winners for the Mark Johnston system. As I said earlier I should have got at least 5/1 about the first of them but I was on at 15/2 for the 7/1 SP winner so I made some of the difference up at least. Up 9.54pts there.

Up on the day again - good week so far! Nice winners from Mark Johnston and also got Belle eponine at a nice price, Fier Destrier, Roman Empress and Time Machine (along with lots of losers too). Up about 5 pts on the day overall
