I've made a few uncharacteristic mistakes today too, which hasn't helped. I missed a whole hour of lays (4pm to 5pm) as I was gardening. I had the backs on but forgot the lays :splapme

Yep, terrible for me too today. Only bright spot has been my 2yo system getting winners with Sunnandaeg and Kavak (nice price too).

Heftily down in £ terms

Funny how, when a favourite finally wins, you have layed it at 4.9. :headbange

The first five days of August saw me lose a massive amount.

Today alone, I have lost more than those five days combined. :(

Oof! Today was definitely a day to back the lays and lay the backs. I finished the day with 8 winners from 29 on the lays - down 24.05pts. That's 8 more winners than I managed on the backs thouch as they cleansheeted with nothing out of the 22 horses I backed coming home in front - down 22pts (obviously).

At least this has been good for my Betdaq commission level :rolleyes:

I guess I can consider myself very lucky to have broken even yesterday given the results everyone else had.

3 from 14 on the lays, up 0.34pts.
4 from 18 on the backs, down 3.19pts. 2 of the winners were on my biggest bank so broke even there in money terms.
