I hate days like this. My results today will be decided almost entirely by one system (Mark Johnston) due to the mismatch in bank sizes

You won't hate it after his frist two go in at 33/1 each :yikes:

Forget about the 33-1 shots, I know which one I want to come in! :)

Mat, my equivalent of your Mark Johnston system has just provided a nice little winner. :wiggle:

Fingers crossed for a big winner on the Johnston system. :)

From the same guy who was suicidal in August :laugh

I go out thirty five minutes ago and I am up a substantial amount - I come back and I am down. :doh

Well Johnston's horses are bang in form today, 2 close finishes in the big races.

I've had 2 winners at 9/1 :thumbs .... not my biggest banks though, but good enough.

I've lost on every race i've had a bet in so far. Unless I see some sort of recovery in the last few races, this could be my worst day ever.

Thebes alomst had that race won until he was hampered. :(

I need those Johnston runners at Wolves to come in, and at decent prices, if I am going to get anything out of today

Back to the Wolves we know. High-priced winning lays on a Saturday night. :(

absolutely fantastic week thanks to my 2yo system. Got Amenable at 100/1 earlier in the week, Oasis Dancer at 66 today. Shame it's only at small stakes but the system is now up 152% for the year to level stakes. Shall definitely be doing this one again next year, with a proper staking plan

Strange that, in the early 90's I backed Ameniable at 100/1 and it won! :ooo

I had Lowdown in the same race which was matched at 120.0. It finished fourth.

The words if and only spring to mind. :)

Fasilight at 4.4 finished off a good day for me :)

Fasilight at 4.4 finished off a good day for me :)

I got 4.4 too. This was soon followed by Granny McPhee winning at 7.6 which was a W2W Lay and the losing back of Birkside in the last.

A good day overall with my favourite bank providing two winners out of two. :wiggle:

The horses conspired against me today. 3 from 17 on the backs, down 8.33pts, and most of them were big points too. On the lays I finished with figures of 5 from 25 and down 8.73pts.

At least the football bets I had today did well and stopped the day being a complete disaster

Checked Betfair without knowing the results.. incredible. I finished about 16 points up (system banker, pro bets). My best day ever
