I got some really good prices on the backs today but it would have been nice if at least one of them had won! ;fire

0 from 6 there, down 6pts. The triple odds-on back of Baily Storm was particularly galling.

Some of my lay prices were alright today, beating SP on a few of the winners but there were too many winning horses to make it anything but an awful day. 6 from 29, down 19.31pts.

While the last few days may be good for my commission rate they have done nothing for my blood pressure or bank balance!

Just checked my stats too - October is by far and away my worst month for betting over the years I have been at this game. Maybe I should start taking Octobers off.
