He does this season after season and learns nothing! Take the best player off to substitute for an inferior one :splapme ..... never uses subs before 60 minutes :splapme ....and puts Kuyt in positions he never scores from :splapme
Hopefully we get knocked out the CL and he gets the boot, I'm so sick of his ineptitude I'd accept McLaren or Sven :ooo

I can't believe that normal service resumed after last week. The suffering i've done since the pool united match was made worse seeing fulham win. The only question liverpool fans should ask is who could or would take on the job?

Lay off rafa and if you wanna blame anyone blame them 2 clowns who own the club and are crippling us with dept..
If rafa is sacked then tell me who is available and would do a better job? there's no one out there plus rafa's just signed a new 5 yr contract so it will cost us next years transfer budget in compensation if he was sacked.
We need new owners not a new manager, have faith in rafa and back him changeing now will achieve nothing.

Gents, please do not try to circumvent the swear filter. It is there for a reason. This is a public forum and people can be offended by it. I'm sure you can find other words to express the strength of your opinions. If you must feel the need to express yourself swearing then please use the appropriate 'smileys' in place.
Thanks.

on penalties and fa cup win on penalties. (this is not a :censored: take i know uniteds 1999 european cup was lucky in the final and pens v chelsea, just being honest) but 2 penalty shoot out wins in 5 or 6 seasons?? not good.
but saying that in SAF's 6th season he finally won the league, people wanted him out before then but the premier is totally different now.
i look at liverpools squad and i see 3 players, the obvious ones who i would have in uniteds squad, the rest of em average at best.
at the moment they remind me of united in 80's , beat liverpool then :censored: up the next game. eg that was our cup final then.
do you give benitez time? i dont know but fergie had the same hassle.

Firstly i'll apoligise for being rude in an earlier post,im not usually like that as it achieves nothing on a forum..
now back on topic,Liverpool fans are more divided than ever about benitez and his methods but i still think he has the support of the majority of fans.
towards the back end of last season was you not excited about the run in and how close we came to the title only for those lucky manc's and there late late goals we would of won that title and i bet you wer'nt saying benitez out then.
Now alonso was sold because he asked to leave many month's before he was sold fact,he told benitez he wanted to go towards the end of last season and i think benitex did well to hold out for the 30 mil he got..
Rafa has made mistake's and still does but he is close to getting it right and bringing us number 19 and once he does 20,21 ,22 will follow..
Those two clowns who own the club are crippling us with debt, and will continue to do so,are if there not forced out a.s.a.p we will end up another leeds playing in the championship within the next 5 seasons.
Anyway big game wednesday and if we lose that i fear he may be sacked, which believe me will put us in a worse state.

Redknapp only left portsmouth cos he knew they were in big trouble and he knew he had lots of money to spend at spurs and lets face it we all knew they were underperforming with ramos so it was no surprise to see them climb back up the table and finish in a respectable position.
chelsea, scolori for whatever reason was'nt given a fair crack of the whip and lots of manager could of done what that Hidink did,but he did'nt win the title or champ league and walked into a club with an outstandind squad.
Now we were closer than ever and those two clowns should of backed benitez with another 20-30 mil to strenghten his bench..but no they held back and pocketed alot of alonso transfer money..

The quick and easy way to get rid of the current owners (and clear most of the debt in the process) is to float the club on the Stock Market. But it will never happen with two owners who have an equal stake and who don't 'get on'. Each will fear that the other will gain enough shares to force a hostile takeover, which may or may not be in the best interests of the club.
I would say that at least one 'major' club a season goes through the 'sack the manager' calls early in the season from fans who think the job is easy after playing a couple of seasons of 'Football Manager'!

He trashed the season himself in February with decisions like he is doing now, Torres/Gerrard substituted, starting with Kuyt upfront, he managed the team to lose the Premiership then, and from then on it was an uphill struggle.
If we won the FA Cup, CL and Prem I'd still want him out, as I've said since season 1 along with many other supporters I know.

Seriously though, there's nothing lucky about late goals, if you look at any weekend of football across all the european leagues, time and time again the top sides in any leauge will get late winners. It's why they are at the top.

:laugh Witty comments here guys, I'm liking it.
I agree with what you've said about United - late goals in consecutive games does make or break a match for a team, and United do battle it to the whistle. But, you have to say that one example of a 'lucky' win was against Arsenal when United beat them 2-1. One own goal from Arsenal, if I remember rightly? And then a disallowed goal for Arsenal for a supposed push that didn't actually occur denying them a 2-2 draw.
That's just one instance I'm talking about, anyway.
I don't think Benitez will be sacked as easily as people seem to think. I think Liverpool like him there. That's twisted logic for you as they're not getting the results (unless they play United of course :wink) but supposing they lose on Wednesday, I can't see Rafa going just yet.

I think, much like the Utd game, today would be a good time to put your money on Liverpool. Benitez does have a habit of winning the games when they are up against it. It's one of those games you can't see them winning with the players they have out but they seem to win them. IE, can't beat Sunderland or Fulham but beat Man Utd.

It all depends on torres i think, without him Liverpool are screwed, he is the one playerwho can turn the game in a second for them.
Either way win or lose they will still qualify for the knockouts.
If they had to beat fiorentina 3-0 to go through then thats what i would put my money on.
