Sad news for fans of the wee man, he's been diagnosed with early stages of stomach cancer, undergoing treatment at the moment... let's hope they can sort him out... he's been such a major figure in rock music for the last 35 years with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and his own band.

That is a real shame mate, poor chap. He made some good albums in his own right didnt he in the 80's? Holy Diver is a very good album I reckon, in fact I like the first 3. I used to listen to them when Vivien Campbell was in I think, I have a video of a show from then somewhere. I didnt realise Jake E Lee was in Dio? Hope he gets better anyway.

As long as they've got it early he has the best chance, although that kind of cancer does not have a good long term result. John Wayne had it, turned him into a cowboy.... building faulty kitchens :doh
