Having just seen your latest advert, I would like to point out that one bob is in fact a shilling and using this logic, one pound is in fact twenty bob. May I suggest that you pay your advertising executives in 'bobs' this week so they learn the true value of money?

I thought *exactly* the same when I saw that advert this morning and came close to emailing McDonalds to tell them.

It's not the only advert I get worked up over at the minute though. The HMRC ad with Moira Stewart in the cupboard under the stairs is my main gripe. She does her bit to camera then focus switches to the woman of the house who is leaving for work. Moira then passes this woman her coat, using her WHITE arm :yikes: Basic continuity :ermmm

reading this reminded me that i have not seen any media coverage recently of Britain losing Stirling and switching to the euro,has any one seen update on this?.

I no what you mean,there is the odd occasion when an add can be viewed as creative or entertaining,but after you have seen it for the 20th time in 24hrs it losses its appeal, my own way of protesting is to turn off the sound during commercial breaks.

The other aspect which winds me up is when the adds come on 4mins after the program has started,and also the barrage of adds you have to sit through at the cinema,before the film starts.
