My day was always going to be dictated by events in the 3.35pm.

When I saw how many systems Lough Derg qualified for, I fully expected to look at the card and see it as a very short-priced favourite.

Instead, it was 8.8 and when I saw that Christian Williams was riding it, I immediately wrote-off my largest ever back bet.

Good riddance February!

A breakeven day for me today with one of my non-W2W lay systems hitting three winners to spoilt things somewhat.

I have a couple of outstanding sports bets but they won't affect things too drastically.

W2W Systems: 2 from 4, up 0.13pts
W2W Lays: 4 from 4, up 5.50pts
Other: 16 from 27, up 57.28pts (largely due to poker again)

it was all going well until the 3:35, the horse was never in the race and cost me a fair amount of money aswell.

The day ended 2 pts up so not all bad....
