I just had the one bet today,and you should never have these thoughts but i did really highly rate its chance,i could not see any danger in the opposition and of course it lost.Hope you all fared better.

I got a terrible price on one of my winners, 3.1 about a 5/1 winner (Problema Tic) but that was a fair price when I put the bet on so I just have to accept I did the right thing at the time. I have cases where the price comes in a lot after I am matched on backs and also cases where it goes for and against me on the lays. All part of the game.

Nice to see my backs portfolio chip in with a nice profit for a change though, and despite a NHPM winner the lays did alright too. It always seems that when one lay system has several runners in a race one of them wins, especially when they are towards the head of the market. I haven't checked the stats for this but that's how it seems.

Overall my Betfair balance increased by a good percentage of the amount I lost yesterday so it was a pretty good day. It would have been an even better day if I hadn't have sucked at the poker tables though :rolleyes:

Mick, I had Halsion Chancer as well on one of my systems, I was hoping that it would do the business too, but the strange thing was that it drifted slightly before the start of the race so maybe he didn't look properly 'worked up for the race' or something.
