Hi Im new to this forum and just wondered if you pro's out there could give me a little advice. Im using the max lays and today will be my first betting day. Ive had a look at the results and can;t seem to work it out duh me!!!

first of all Im right that I am laying all the horses selected? Also todays horses are VERY high odds 19/1 one of them even if I bet £2 stake my liability is quite high. Is this normal? Aslo in the results I can't work out which is the horse which has made profit ie: lost the race meaning profit you you! Is it the one with the odd's next to them or the one with W next to the horses name?

Welcome to the forum Emma :Helooo

1. Yes, you should be laying the Max Lay selections
2. I would only lay to max odds of 11.0 and not above. Several will appear in the list that are above this cutoff, just ignore them.
3. W in the Max Lays results means the bet won (i.e. the horse lost). Those with a Betfair price next to them lost money for layers (won their race)
