There are five books so far by the above author,Earths Children.

The first called THE CLAN OF THE CAVE BEARS is heavy going for the first few chapters but get through these and you may find yourself hooked.

They are IMO excellent historical novels.

I really enjoyed the first 3 of those when they came out... but found the last couple a bit of a disappointment.

HI BC ,yes i thought books 2 and 3 where the best.
