Could someone please clarify,if you have a rep power of 7,does this mean you can give rep 7 more times before running out?. Cheers

Your Rep Power increases as your post count increases and also when other people positively Rep you for an informative/funny/useful etc. post that you have made. This has no bearing on how many Reps you can make.
The amount of other members' Rep Power will influence how slowly (or quickly) your green/gold blobs/stars increment, when they Rep you.
There is a limit as to how many people you can Rep in a 24hr period.

Hope this helps.

Cheers Ada ,but still not sure how to judge how many times you can give rep,is it the dark green squares,i have 5 so does this enable me to give 5 people rep and no more,or is there no limit on how much you can award.

Sorry Mick, I edited my first post while you were replying.
Please read my first post again.
Effectively there is no limit on how many people you can Rep, but there IS a limit over each 24hr period.
You are also limited to how often you can Rep one particular person.
You get a message asking you to "spread your Rep around a bit" before you can Rep the same person again, if you have already Repped them very recently and not Repped anyone else.
The green/gold blobs and stars are just an indication of the volume of Rep someone has received.

...and the number of rep power you have indicate the amount of rep points on when you give it. So if Keith gives you rep, your score'll increase by 216. :)

HI JOHN, i would not worry about it,i use spell checker and still make mistakes.I also got lost when using a sat nav.

One of the almost enduring aspects of posting on a forum,is that sometimes, you are tired when you do so,and when reading it the next day think why did i say that.

Any members who have not experianced this so far i expect your turn will come.

PS been looking at your recent photos really like the ones by the water. When are you going to start on horses.
