The world cup has finished and so the rumour mill is in overtime at the moment.

I have heard that Joe Cole will be unveiled as an Arsenal player in the next couple of days.

Tottenham are after Luis Faniano.

Milner to Man City.

Mascherano is looking to flee whilst it looks like Gerrard will stay.

Leyton Orient did all their summer transfers before the world cup started so the next few weeks look likely to be quite uneventful for us.

Heskey has retired from international football- shame as I expect he was a shoe-in for 2014 in Brazil. :helper
Liverpool could bring Dalglish back and he would still be better than some of their strikers. You do start to wonder whether Torres is going to be one of those players where his body doesn't stand up- he is getting injured an awful lot now for a young lad isn't he?

Joe Cole to Liverpool. Seems to have got himself a nice package, rumouried to be up from 80k per week to 95k per week from what I understand, ona 4 year deal :yikes:

His agent must be a miracle worker

I think all players should be on 'Paid as you Play' deals. It'd give them back the hunger to play well to get back in the first 11, rather than being dropped and still getting £100,000 a week for sitting at home :ermmm
