I beg to differ but a shame he had ran poorly his last few starts but then he wouldn't have been 100/s anyway but this was N Mordin back in:

SOLE POWER MAY WELL BE THE TOP IRISH SPRINTER

Ireland doesn't produce many top class five furlong runners barring juveniles. But SOLE POWER (39) looks to be just such a horse because he's just lowered Dundalk's five furlong track record by over half a second. -

It's tough for a three year old to win big Group 1 five furlong sprints like the Abbaye, the King's Stand and the Nunthorpe. But Sole Power showed plenty of speed here and deserves a crack at those races.'

He emulated his sire, Kyllachy who won 2002 running but unlike him & two other recent 3yo winners, Oasis Dream & Mozart, he's a gelding - don't think we've heard the last of him yet but....

I'll remember yesterday most for a horse who never even ran, another Brian Meehan 2yo hotpot, MURHEB, two horses behind him last time ran just about the fastest races on the cards of York & Sandown. One for your notebook.

Ooops, spelt that wrong, shld've been Murbeh, who just won the sales race @ Ripon - I was a bit annoyed to see him even running there - back to the grade one courses please!!

Oh! he's:crazy: back! Yah!
