Apparently he is not talking to MUFC TV now because the interview was on there, or so the Mirror are saying. He has done it before I believe. Atkinson was pretty useless but no worse than Clattenburg last weekend, he bottled it as even I cant defend what Rooney did....& I've tried!

They should be able to say what they want about the officials. They only state what most others already know.
I don't bother with post-match interviews, they are all the same:
Commentator: " So do you think your team performed well?"
Manager: "They were fantastic, best of the season"
Commentator: "Erm ...... you lost 7-0"
Manager: "Yes, but we nearly hit the post once"
Commentator: "Your 50M striker isn't performing very well, he hasn't scored yet"
Manager: "Well it can take time for a player to settle into the team"
Commentator: "He has been with you 2 years!!"
Manager: "..... and he nearly scored last month"
Commentator: "He missed a penalty!!"

Then there's the question they all ask: How important was that win? :headbange "oh, not at all, we'd rather have lost the game"
Gordon Strachan was the best for answering banal questions.
