yup Money laundering seems to be the main reason, it was going to happen eventually with all the american poker sites, pretty sure all of them are now offline. lots of people talking about it on twitter

The owner of the Wynne Casino in Vegas has bought a good cut in it, and at the moment it's going through the Nevada courts on whether to allow online poker. It will happen eventually, Obama has said he won't stop new legislation, but you know what US justice is like and things bounce backwards and forwards for yonks. I suppose their is now a court order from a religious group preventing it.... that's usually the way with them :doh1: .... I use Pokerstars :thumbs
