Military covenant 'law' welcomed

Former military chiefs have welcomed news that the government is preparing to enshrine the military covenant in law.

Will this stop me having to fight my own council and the government in the future? Probably not :doh1: .... but it's a start. The problem is, each council treats ex-forces differently. Some put them at the top of the housing list when they leave the forces, others don't. Some councils include the war pension as income when it comes to housing benefit. It isn't. :ermmm The government needs to step in and make all councils equal.
