A government department warned Downing Street that a flagship Conservative policy to cap benefits could result in 20,000 people being made homeless, it emerges.

They will have to move somewhere cheaper, why should i pay my taxes to people on benefits that are getting twice or three times my income and living in homes that i couldnt even dream of either renting or buying.

Of course benefits should be capped.

It outlined concerns that an estimated £270m a year in savings from the measure did not take into account the additional costs to local authorities through homelessness and temporary accommodation.
