Five people are arrested in a raid at a Bedfordshire travellers' site where 24 men suspected of being held against their will - some for up to 15 years - are found.

It's beyond belief that slavery exists in this day and age, and I dare say many thought it didn't happen in the UK. Those behind this racket must have kept the poor sods under one hell of a tight rein as the police think some people have been slaves for as long as 15 years.

You only have to watch the UK customs program on Sky to realise it goes on all over the place here, not as bad as that one, although I'm sure many others are locked up, and not just abused for work either :ermmm
