This afternoon's meeting at Folkestone is subject to a further inspection at 10am.

Course officials had a look at 7.15am but with the course frozen in places felt it prudent to call another check.

Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross said: "There is a crust on the ground and the track is not currently raceable. It is due to be a bright and sunny morning with temperatures reaching 7C and therefore it has to be worth persevering."

It's above freezing 1/2-way up a Welsh mountain here and no frost so they can hold the meeting in my garden!! :ooo

Hmm, they could've done that I suppose, as long as you hadn't tried to nobble your fancies' rivals
before the off.

Although that's a deplorable admission, it must have taken quite some effort and not a little courage. To prise the farmer off in the first place I mean.

Mr D is addicted to nobbling it seems, however he'd better watch it as it's rumoured a hairy-@rsed sergeant from the local nick has his own way of dealing with this type of carry-on.

He takes miscreants round the back of the station and gives them, well, a taste of their own medicine. :yikes:

And then he humps them. :laugh
