Garde Champetre always goes well on this type of track, but is getting on a bit now, but he'll still be in it at the business end. Sizing Australia won this last year and this is a race horses tend to come back and win, and he had a good warm-up at Naas last month. Scotirish is another likely to go well in this type of event. I rarely get heavily involved in this type of race though.

:mad::mad: Grand Champetre & Scotirish bot had to be put down :mad: .... the former basically has been part of the Festival furniture for years. :ermmm

Strange it happened in that race as they don't go fast till the end.

I know Scotsirish has been, but is that definite about Garde Champetre. Channel 4 only said he was injured.

Grande was close to being retired as well :mad:
