I too have a free £5 bet from Ladbrokes, which has to be redeemed today (Tuesday 13th) but ISN'T restricted to just the 1.30 race.
My bet has to be placed by the beginning of the last race of the day (5.15).
You can also split it into a £2.50 EW bet, bearing in mind that the £5 stake is not returned with any winnings, so the odds have to be 'sensible' to get a decent return.

I've split my free fiver into a £2.50 EW on Magnanimity (odds 17.00) in the 2.40.
