Football Laying System

As this seems to be a popular thing to do I have devised my own football betting system. In simple, I am Laying Odds on Favourites who are playing Away. Rules are:
1. Acceptable Odds range - 1.00 < X > 2.00
2. Competitive Only (No Friendlies)
3. Men's Senior Only (No Reserve's, Women's or Under's)
4. No Neutral Venue
5. Pre-Match Only (No In-Play betting)
If the rules above are not met than bet is void. The major concern with this system, early days, is the availability of odds below 2.00 on Betfair before the off. If you cannot get on at 1.99 or below then the bet is void.

O.K So I am going to try this out myself and provide my selections for today below.

Staking Plan : 5% of Bank
Starting Bank : £1000

18 March 2012 - Man U at 1.37
18 March 2012 - Brugge at 1.99
18 March 2012 - Anderlecht at 1.44
18 March 2012 - Genk at 1.85
18 March 2012 - Flamengo at 1.93
18 March 2012 - Corinthians at 1.69
18 March 2012 - Ajax at 1.57
18 March 2012 - Vercelli at 1.99
18 March 2012 - Ternana at 1.99

These are not in chronological order.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcome. I will try to incorporate other factors such as Recent Win Streak, Previous Results of Two teams concerned at relevant stadium etc.

5% Is extremely high for laying, Max is usually 1% even if most are odds-on.

So, I found some more Odds On Favourites yesterday but I have now decided to change this system's rule of acceptable odds to 1.50 < X < 1.99, below were the results for yesterday's games. These reason for the change is that I want to compare the results for this system to a Heavy Favourites System of Odds < 1.50.
