Anyone know what happened to the 6.40 at Punchestown today?

According to The Sporting Life:


Heavy rain, mixed with strong winds, forced the two chases (5.30 & 6.40) to be scrapped on the day.
With lashing rain and strong winds causing officials serious cause for concern, the decision was made early in the afternoon that neither thetote.com Punchestown Gold Cup or the Guinness Handicap Chase would be able to take place as the chase track was deemed unraceable.

Both of the chases have been rescheduled to be run on Saturday's card, with the Gold Cup given an off time of 4.25pm and the Guinness Handicap Chase scheduled for 5pm.

One thing I love about the Irish authorities, they are always quick to reschedule races. They've only been doing it in the UK the last 10 years, and then it is only the odd race.
