Investec Derby hero Camelot could run in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on June 30.

The unbeaten Aidan O'Brien-trained colt landed the Epsom Classic in style at the weekend to supplement his Qipco 2000 Guineas success at Newmarket last month and is odds-on to become the first horse since Nijinsky in 1970 to win the Triple Crown by adding the Ladbrokes St Leger to his haul at Doncaster in September.

Before that, the mile-and-a-half showpiece at the Curragh is among the possible options.

Speaking at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby launch, O'Brien indicated the race would be considered by the Coolmore team.

The Irish Field tweeted: "Irish Derby launch: Aidan "Camelot could run. We'll see how he is and what everyone thinks. We'd love to run.""
