Not a good week with the wife's nan passing away after a stroke, the funeral this Sunday, and wifey's dog passed away yesterday at the age of 4
I haven't done much betting myself this week for obvious reasons, but having a little dabble today.

I've just found out Ladbrokes have bought Betdaq :yikes:
After all the years the bookies tried to get the government to ban exchanges!! :doh1:

Great result in the 3:45. Laid 3 in a 5 runner race and didn't hit one of them :thumbs

I've watched my 2nd Mass of the week via webcam :yikes:
The body has been on display since last Sunday at the Chapel with a live cam from the Philippines, the family stay with it until the funeral on Sunday. That to me is just weird, although I seem to remember similar things in this country in the 70's when I was a lad
Last time I was in manila a neighbour of the wife's family couldn't afford a chapel so they displayed the coffin at the side of the main road for a week :ooo

Probably as they have no chance of setting one up themselves being tight-fisted ::swear  .... they only look after the shareholders not the customers so I wonder if the commission will go up?
The bookies have been hedging on the exchanges for a couple of years now, and that effects SP. Simple choice, rip-off bookies or Betfair?
