Labour need to shut up, these agencies react months behind what investors already know :doh1:, and dropping down one level makes little difference anyway, especially in the present climate.

Every conceivable way of getting a country out of recession has been tried in numerous countries around the world in the last 3 years, none have worked, and no one thing ever will, too many variables control such things, and no government has any control over it regardless of what they try and make us think.

Probably true, but if Gordon Brown had lost the AAA rating or Ed Balls, they'd be getting slaughtered today. Tories are finding out this problem was never caused by Labour, it was a world problem but their nonsense has caught up with them and made them look like muppets....and destined for defeat in 2 years time. :thumbs

Labour never caused the problem, as in they never started the avalanche, but the policies they had developed and the massive overspending helped speed it up when it hit the UK. Very few countries in the world were actually effected, unlike Brown who kept telling everyone it was global :doh1:

Most people are well aware of the debts left by the champagne socialist Blair/Brown government (£3 trillion pounds?) What surprises most of us is how it took Blair/Brown 13 years to achieve what the Wilson/Callaghan champagne socialist government did in 5 years to 1978, i.e. get this once Great Britain up to it's eyes in debt and loss of our AAA rating.

The only bright spot in politics these days is when Milliband/Balls stand up in Parliament and tell Cameron how to run the country. Got to be the laugh of the week!:laughitupsmilie:
