Betsend Problem - Countdown Freezing and bets not being placed

Hi

I was wondering if anyone who is using betsender has been experiencing any problems with it. Sometimes, the countdown clock to the next race is freezing and the bets are not being placed. I have multiply copies running and it only happening to a few windows. I have to close the window in question and restart it. This is quite annoying as it defeats the object of the program. This is happening with both the betfair version and the trial version of the betdaq program.

I have emailed them and I'm still waiting for their reply.

I do get a number of cancelled bets on some days for what seems like no reason, but I think that may be to do with the way I set the results to work. I've never had the clock freeze though :doh Is it your firewall blocking it at times?

Don't think it would be the firewall as some of the opened windows carry on working as normal.

Has it always done it or has it just started recently?

Never used to do it, only had it for around a month though. First noticed it last week, no new software has been installed either. Some days it does it, some days it don't. :headbange

Hmmm!!! :doh I don't think the countdown uses an API call so it's not that. Have you checked for issues with the system clock?

Try installing this http://www.thinkman.com/dimension4/ and set it to sync every 3 mins. That'll make sure the clock is correct.

Still no response from Betsender themselves yet!

First bet on the Betsender version failed (2 copies running) but no problems with the rest and all bets were placed using the Betfair version (4 copies running).


I've also installed and started to run that program you recommended.

Mine worked fine today, the only time I get cancelled bets is when it is a busy day and they overlap. That can be solved by changing how it handles the results though.

I haven't selected the consequent betting option, so it can't be that. I have the bot to place the bets 10 seconds before the off-time with the refresh interval, set at 1 second.

What happens today now with Cheltenham, will the bot place the bet for the first race around 1.30 or will Betfair and Betsender recoignise the 30 minute delay? :doh

Sorry.... I was out this afternoon watching the racing in a Liverpool bookies :yikes: .... As long as you don't have the wait for the result box ticked it will put all the bets on, but will not recognise the delay, no bots do.

It only affected one bet, due Merry King being the fave at the original off time and it bloody lost!

My kid is 23 and he got kicked out of Ladbrokes for being under 18!!! Muppet had no ID, so we went to William Hill and he got kicked out :laugh ... We ended up in David Pluck :doh ... 2 staff and the shop was empty, guess they didn't like me by the end of the day after walking out with a couple of hundred never to return :biggrin:
