i seem to have picked up some sort of shopper/advertising virus and cant find it i'm running avast,superantispyware and regulary run spybot search and destroy.
it highlights key words in blue and if you go over them an advert appears in another window allthough not viscous it is very annoying and slows up pc.
any ideas?

Have u tried System Restore?

Come to think of it - I had that problem with the Racing Post site a few weeks ago - it underlined certain words & if u browsed over them an ad would pop-up but it just sort of went away without me doing anything I think?

Uninstall anything that was installed just prior to this happening.

System Restore

If that fails:
Emsisoft

If that fails:
Malwarebytes

That should keep you going for a while :biggrin:
