I have heard a rumour that once the Roberto Martinez situation is sorted out, Wigan are ready to appoint former Manchester United first team coach Rene Maulensteen.
It's only a rumour mind, but I have heard that it might all be sorted and announced this week coming.
Maulensteen is currently around 5/1 to be named next Wigan boss.
And, apparently there is no truth to the rumour that it is because next seasons tracksuits have already been printed with RM and it will save on getting new ones done if he is happy to squeeze into them. :ooo
