They should be glad that they are free, and still have both of their hands.

Indeed, they're just lucky they're from a country which can put pressure on for their release, not that those convicted of drugs offences are worth lifting a finger for.

Anyone nicking stuff in that part of the world who gets caught and loses their hands as a result must find it small consolation that they can still pinch doughnuts from the local baker.
